Here is good news for parents worried about the astronomical fees charged by elite schools. For, the municipal schools in the city have performed exceptionally well in the SSC examination. Many municipal schools have achieved more than 90% success rate and a good number of students secured more than 550 marks out of total 600.
“It is heartening to note that the civic schools have achieved a wonderful pass percentage. Parents from weaker sections and middle classes should join their children in these schools,” observed MLC from teachers constituency, K S Lakshman Rao.
