Hyderabad, Jan. 26: A man who suffered grievous injuries in a road accident, died while undergoing treatment at the Gandhi Hospital here on Wednesday. The mishap occurred as the auto driver rammed his auto trolley into an APSRTC bus near Balanagar crossroads under the Sanathnagar station limits.

According to the Sanathnagar police, the victim, V. Chanti, a native of Guntur, was a resident of Balkampet. He, along with his friend Mr Laxmipathi and Madhu, the auto trolley driver, were going to Sanathnagar when the mishap occurred.

According to Jeedimetla police, she had married T Balaraju, worker with BHEL, five years ago. Rani's parents reportedly gave nine tolas of gold and a two-wheeler as dowry at the time of the marriage.

Balaraju's family members T Narsamma and Mallaiah were harassing Rani for additional dowry and this led to quarrels between the couple. As a result, Rani had been staying with her parents for some time, Jeedimetla inspector A Sanjeeva Rao said.

On Monday at around 8.30 am, she along with her two children returned to her in-laws house. Locals informed the police that a burnt body was lying in the house of Balaraju.
