మొత్తానికి వై.స్. జగన్ తెలంగాణపై అస్పష్టంగానే ఐనా నోరు విప్పారు. తెలంగాణా ప్రజల పోరాటాన్ని ఒప్పుకుంటూనే తమ వాదన సమైఖ్యమేనని తేల్చి చెప్పారు. ఇక్కడ కూడా ఎవరికీ చిక్కకుండా జగన్ తనదైన తెలివి ప్రదర్శించారు. ఇరు ప్రాంతాల ప్రజల అభిమానాన్ని పొందేందుకే నిర్ణయించుకున్నా, తెలంగాణాలో జగన్ తీరును ఎలా స్వీకరిస్తారో చూడాలి. తెలంగాణపై కొద్దో గొప్పో తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీలో వచ్చిన స్పష్టత జగన్ పార్టీలో కనిపించలేదు. ఇప్పటి వరకు జగన్ కు లోపాయికారీ సహకారం అందిస్తూ వచ్చిన తెరాస ఇక ఎలా స్పందిస్తుందో మరి. జగన్ ప్రకటన వెలువడి ఇప్పటికి కొన్ని గంటలు దాటినా తెరాస శ్రేణులు ఇంకా తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ పైనే విమర్శలు కొనసాగిస్తుండడం గమనార్హం. ఇప్పటి వరకు జగన్ తెలంగాణకు అనుకూలమైన నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటారని ఆశించిన వారికి నిరాశే ఎదురైంది. ఇక భవిష్యత్తులో జగన్ తెలంగాణాలో చేసే పర్యటనలు ఎలా ఉండబోతున్నాయో చూడాలి.రెండు రోజుల పాటు జరిగిన జగన్ పార్టీ ప్లీనరీ ద్వారా త్రిశంకు స్వర్గం చూపించే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. ఇప్పటి వరకు ప్రభుత్వం అమలు చేస్తున్న పథకాలకే కాస్త మెరుగులు దిద్దుతూ తమ మేనిఫెస్టో ప్రకటించారు. పించన్ల మొత్తాలను పెంచి, ఇళ్ళ నిర్మాణాల సంఖ్యను పెంచేశారు. ఇక వై.స్.రాజశేఖరరెడ్డి కి పేరు తెచ్చిన 108 వాహనాల సంఖ్యనూ పెంచేశారు. పనిలో పనిగా కేంద్రంలో వ్యవసాయ మంత్రి పదవి మన రాష్ట్రానికే దక్కాలని చెబుతూ పరోక్షంగా తాను రైతు పక్షపాతినన్న విషయాన్నీ చెప్పుకునే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. మొత్తంగా చూస్తే జగన్ పార్టీ విధానాలు రాష్ట్ర ప్రగతికి ప్రయోజనాలు కలిగించేవి కాకపోగా మరోసారి సంక్షేమ పథకాలతో ముంచెత్తేందుకు సిద్ధమవుతున్నట్లు స్పష్టమవుతోంది. ఇలాంటి పథకాలతో సాధించే ప్రయోజనం ఏమిటో ప్రధాన పార్టీలు ఇంకా గుర్తించక పోవడం విచారించదగ్గ విషయం.రైతులపై అంతా ప్రేమ ఉండే వారయితే సరైన విధానాలను రూపొందించే వారే. కేవలం వోటు రాజకీయాలతో గట్టేక్కుదామన్న స్వార్ధం స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తోంది. ఇలాంటి పార్టీలు ఎన్ని వచ్చిన ప్రజల ఆశలకు తగ్గ రీతిలో పని చేస్తాయని ఆశించడం అత్యాశే.

New Delhi, Jul 6 : “The status as of today is consultation process is still continuing. No decision has been taken yet,” Home Minister P Chidambaram told reporters here when asked about the demand for a separate Telangana state.
With lawmakers raising the pitch for a separate Telangana, Centre today said consultations were on and hoped the process would help it reach a final decision even as it ruled out suggestions of President’s Rule in Andhra Pradesh.
He ruled out suggestions of imposition of President’s Rule in Andhra Pradesh, where over 100 legislators have submitted their resignations to press for their demand for a separate Telengana state.
“We are not thinking of President’s Rule….We hope that the process of consultations will show us the path to reach a conclusion,” Chidambaram said.
Expressing unhappiness over the spate of resignations by MLAs and MPs from the region, he said the Centre would engage them in discussions.
Chidambaram said that the Congress General Secretary in-charge of party affairs in Andhra Pradesh is already in talks with party MLAs and MPs on the issue.

Hyderabad:When legislators from Telangana region resigned in January 2010, several corporators from Telugu Desam and Congress had submitted their resignations but withdrew it later. A few months ago, the corporators also participated in a hunger strike in support of separate state of Telangana and even wanted to move a resolution in the GHMC council.While several city MLAs are mulling over their resignations in support of separate Telangana state, some corporators of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) of Congress, Telugu Desam and BJP are planning to resign from their posts, especially those representing surrounding municipal circles.

Santa Clara, CA: The Union Minister Pallam Raju said about the economic growth of India especially rising the standards of rural India, tier-two cities and asked NRIs to support their motherland in developmental activities. Citing the India team that clinched world cup, the minister said ‘the most highlight of the victory was the team members of the world cup cricket that won the cup for India represented India’s rural and not urban like in the past’.
Galla Arunakumari, the Minister for mines, said as expatriates, everyone should give something back to the home country and requested every individual to contribute in their own way to the country and to the great state of Andhra Pradesh. She also asked NRIs to take care of their parents and ensure that they are happy.

The Osmania University JA C for separate Telangana state has set July 10th as deadline for the United Progressive Alliance government at the Center to announce the formation of the separate Telangana state.
This committee, which comprises students who have been the backbone of the movement, have said that they are not prepared to wait for longer than July 10.
We have the support of the entire Telangana people and we will go on streets if our demand is not met, the students said.

Archeological Survey of India Officials, which is the custodian of Charminar, said that the number of visitors on Tuesday dwindled to less than one-fourth the normal figure. “With no public transportation, Charminar had just 1,934 visitors as against the average 6,000,” said an official.

Hyderabad, July 5 : According to an official spokesperson of All India Insurance Employees Association, the shutdown may affect premium collection in the region. Singareni Collieries suffered coal production loss of Rs 15 crore today, a spokesperson of the state-owned company said.
Our daily output is approximately 1.35 lakh tonnes of coal. Today it was just 25,000 to 30,000 tonnes. Dispatches were also hit due to non-availability of transportation, the spokesperson said.
SCCL has all its coal mines spread across Telangana which consists of ten districts.
However, it is business as usual for IT industry, where employee attendance was normal, said L Suresh, President, Information Technology and Services Industry Association of Andhra Pradesh said.

The TRS isn’t too impressed by the Telugu Desam MLAs’ decision to quit their seats to press for a separate Telangana. They would much rather see the party chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, come out openly in support of Telangana. In another development, the Telangana Telugu Desam Forum, which announced its decision to resign on July 4 immediately after Telangana Congress Ministers, MPs, MLAs and MLCs, are now in a fix.
