Padma awards or Congress awards?

The central government has announced the Padma awards of total 126 of which Padma Bhushan-13, Padma Vibushan-31 and Padma Shri-84 awards. There are a lot of allegations on Padma awards as government(Congress or BJP) men or sympathizers are always eligible for Padma awards. Hence, congress will benefit from these personalities in terms of election funding or campaigning for congress in the elections. The latest announcements of Padma awards are also proving the same.

Out of the total awards, 50% awards are bagged by congress ruling states such as Delhi (22), Maharashtra (18), AP (12) and TN (12) sum up to 63 awards of total 126 awards and remaining awards are shared by rest of 26 states in India. Though TN is not ruled by congress, but it is ruled by its important coalition partner DMK. Alongside, one more crucial state for congress, Karnataka has received 11 awards. If AP concerned, two industrialists Anji Reddy of Reddy lads, GVK Reddy of GVK group and Akkineni who are directly related to congress for funding the party activities in the state. That's why the public has lost interest in these awards, as they were branded by the politics.
