HYDERABAD: A partially burnt body of an unidentified person was found at Kulsumpura on Sunday morning. Police said the assailants strangled the victim (50) to death and later burnt the body with petrol. Some persons known to the victim could have murdered him. The incident came to light when residents noticed the body and alerted police.
In a separate incident, a 32-year-old woman was murdered allegedly by her husband at Ramanthapur on Saturday night. The accused, Surender picked up an argument with his wife Hymavathi in connection with some financial dispute and in a fit of rage, he stabbed her to death. Police registered a murder case against Surender and took him into custody.
In yet another incident, an autorickshaw driver was found murdered at Raidurg on Sunday. Unidentified persons killed the auto driver Mallesh (26) by smashing his head with a boulder. Liquor bottles and cards were also found at the spot, police said.
